"Poseidon Extreme"

This PC was built for the purpose of being a strongly performing system when doing image, video, or audio editing.  Configured for dual-booting, the PC hosts Windows XP Pro and Vista Ultimate.  The CPU is an Intel Core 2 Extreme (X6800), with air-cooled overclocking to 3.5GHz and FSB:DDR2 ratio of 1:1.

System Update:

Swap ASUS Motherboard for Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R aftter ASUS had electrical failure.
Increased DDRAM2 to 8GB, swapping 4x1GB Corsair PC8500 for 4x2GB A-Data PC6400.
Swap Gigabyte Poseidon case for CoolerMaster R690 for much better airflow.
Removed video cooler trim panel to ease clearance with door-mounted fan.
With loss of ASUS Wi-fi module on motherboard, added external USB D-Link Wireless G adapter.
